Lost your Samsung remote, or the buttons stopped responding? If your old remote says BN59-01388A on the back, this guide will help you confirm the replacement fits before you buy.
The quick answer
The Besia BN59-01388A is an infrared replacement remote for Samsung Smart TVs. It is made to replace the original BN59-01388A remote, so if that is the model number on your old remote, it is the right match.
Compatible Samsung TVs
This remote works with Samsung Crystal UHD CU7000 series TVs, including UN43CU7000, UN50CU7000, UN55CU7000, UN58CU7000, UN65CU7000, UN70CU7000, UN75CU7000, and UN85CU7000, as well as DU7200 series TVs from 43 to 85 inches. Not sure about your TV? Check the model number on the sticker on the back of your TV, or find it in your TV's Settings menu. If your TV is in the series above, you are covered.
Setup: no programming needed for most TVs
Insert 2 AAA batteries and point the remote at your TV. For most Samsung TVs it works right away with no programming. If your TV prompts you to pair, press and hold the Back and Play/Pause buttons together for 3 to 5 seconds until the TV confirms pairing.
Batteries
Each remote takes 2 AAA batteries. The single remote does not include batteries. The 2-pack bundle option includes 1 pack of 4 AAA Max batteries, enough for both remotes.
Which one to buy
Single remote, $12.99, batteries not included. 2-pack, $21.99 for remotes only, or $26.49 with 4 AAA Max batteries included. The 2-pack is the better value if you want a spare for another room.
